Business Instructor

Administrative Assistant to the Vice President of Instruction

Position Vacancy:  Montgomery Community College is accepting applications for the position of Administrative Assistant to the Vice President of Instruction.
Minimum Qualifications:  Associate Degree in Office Administration, Computer Information Technology, or related field and two years experience, 50WPM, with word processing and software application skills, and effective communication skills.  This position reports to the Vice President of Instruction and is responsible for administrative and clerical functions of that office.  Salary Range: $2223-$2422 monthly.  Application deadline: March 8, 2010. Vice President of Student Services

WEB 140 Web Development Tools; M/W 5:10-7 pm. BA in Computer Information Technology or Web Technologies preferred; two-year associate's degree required. Must be proficient in web page design basics, text, images, links, CSS, tables, and FTP. Prior experience with Adobe Dreamweaver CS4 preferred. Must be willing to work evening hours. Course begins Jan. 11, 2010.

ACC 150 Accounting Software Applications; M/W 12:30-1:50 pm. BA in accounting required with thorough familiarity with Quickbooks 2007. Course begins Jan. 11, 2010.

Part-time instructor needed for Foodservice Technology courses. Associate’s degree in Culinary or Foodservice required. Classes at Southern Correctional. Courses include: FST 100 Introduction to Foodservice--Wednesdays 8am-10:50am; FST 102 Basic Foodservice Skills—T/Th 8am-9:50am; 10am-10:50am, Wednesday 1pm-3pm, Tuesday 1pm-3:30pm, Thursday 1pm-2:30pm.

Part-time instructor needed for NET 126 Routing Basics course. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Technology or Networking Technology preferred; two year associate’s degree required. Must be proficient in the following: The OSI Model, TCP/IP, IP Addressing, Router and IOS Basics, Router Startup and Configuration, Routing Protocols, Network Services, Access Lists, Basic Switching and Switch Configuration. CCNA certification preferred. Must be willing to work evening hours. NET 126 Routing Basics offered Monday and Wednesday, 7:30-9:45 p.m., Spring semester only; Jan. 8--May 10, 2010.
