Career Technical Education Pathways

Career Technical Education (CTE) pathways are aligned with high school career clusters and lead to a certificate or diploma in a technical career area. Career clusters refer to fields of employment or industries that lead to careers within a specific field or industry. MCC offers eleven CTE pathways.

To be eligible to enroll in a CTE pathway, a student must (1) be a high school junior or senior; (2) have a weighted GPA of 3.0 on high school courses or have the recommendation of the high principal or his/her designee; and (3) meet the prerequisites for the career pathway.
